Ta’ilah Afrae has served the wider Alameda County community since the young age of 9. Beginning with the Holiday Adoption Program and our Annual Thanksgiving Drive and Brunch, she has been essential to the growth of our ministry. During High School, Tai used her early release days to support and assemble Food Bags with the FACES “Overflow Pantry”.
During High School, Tai recognized the growing population of Homeless individuals while on her way to school to NEA in Alameda each morning. After researching “What was needed by those on the streets”, Tai and Ona began giving out Blessing Bags, water, and supplies. Tai has been with The Community Outreach Ministry since its inception in 2009.
