I have been with the Pastoral Care ministry at EBCRS for 8 years. I found joining the EBCRS Pastoral Care team was an easy fit for me. Contributing to the welfare of others, especially in times of need, has played a pivotal role in my life’s journey. As a child, my mom, sensing my willingness to be of service, would send me to an older disabled neighbor’s home to assist her with her needs.
As an adult, I would take my daughters to convalescent homes and to those who were shut-in to tend to their needs.
Also, I worked and retired from the medical field at Kaiser Permanente tending to the care of those in need. While here at EBCRS I have visited with our congregants who were in the hospital and care facilities, supported those making their transition, as well as, those affected by transition and grief.
My passion is to give support and loving care to people within our congregation and the community at large.
