Pat Baxter

A proud native of the Southside of Chicago, Pat has made Northern California her home since 1983. Moving to California after receiving her B.A. from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, she held various sales/marketing and managerial positions in high-tech.

In 2002 she decided to leave the corporate world and embark on her dream of business ownership. Today Pat is a financial & investment advisor and owner of REAP Legacy, Inc. with offices in Oakland and Walnut Creek. She was introduced to SOM in 2001 and joined EBCRS in 2003. She volunteered for many years in the tape ministry. Today she is active with our F.A.C.E.S community outreach group in providing support for the unhoused and those needing food support. Pat became a Board Trustee in 2018.

A member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. she has acted as Chair of her chapter’s youth empowerment and development program (Delta GEMS). Human trafficking and the vast injustices present in our prison systems are some of her many social justice concerns, and she has been active in bringing awareness about these matters.

An avid cook, she often gathers family and friends to break bread together. Family consists of her daughter (and fiancé), grandson and granddaughter. Cycling and wilderness hiking are her other passions and over the years Pat has participated in many organized cycling events thru out the country. She has also cycled in Spain, Jamaica and South Africa. Her goal is to have the wheels of her bike touch every continent and a multitude of countries
