Giving and receiving are both part of a divine continuum of prosperity and abundance. Sacred Service Angels give freely of their time and talent, and in doing so, the church thrives. The church, in turn, gives of its treasury and ministries to serve members of the spiritual community. Members of the spiritual community share the healing they receive as blessings in the larger world. The world rejoices and supports this healing circulation of unconditional love, which of course, inspires and manifests again as volunteers.

Would you like to be part of this continuum of love? At East Bay Church of Religious Science, we value whatever gift you choose to bring as a volunteer. We truly welcome and appreciate your help in every ministry; in every endeavor we undertake.

If you would like to serve in any area of the church, please send an email to ebcrsorg@gmail.com or fill out our online form below and let us know you are interested in volunteering.  Not sure where you want to apply the gift of your service? Send us an email anyway and let’s talk about it!

Thank you and God bless you.

“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

Our Ministries

The purpose of the East Bay Church Pastoral Care ministry is to spiritually assist our community in knowing the Truth when faced with a life-changing event. The ministry offers prayer and emotional support and practical support to individuals and families facing challenges with health, finances, death and dying, and other areas of life.

On behalf of our East Bay family, we want you to know that we are dedicated to meeting the needs of people wherever they are in life. Prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can do that.

We invite you to attend “The Spiritual Man,” an empowering support group.

The mission of the Youth Ministry is to empower our children and provide a solid spiritual foundation for their success in the world.

Through harmony, rhythm, and spirit, the East Bay Church of Religious Science Music Ministry brings joy to all. We are committed to the transformation of the entire planet by sharing soulful, heartfelt, spiritual music.

East Bay Church of Religious Science (EBCRS), a Center for Spiritual Living, has a history of providing quality services to our congregation, residents of Oakland and surrounding communities through its various Ministries. In July 2020 the Sacred Activism Ministry (SAM) was launched to expand programs and services of EBCRS to empower and uplift residents of Oakland and neighboring communities.

We are dedicated to supporting, empowering individuals by uplifting all impacted by incarceration with dignity, respect and love. Our goal is to serve as a safe and non-judgmental space to support positive new beginnings. We serve as a beacon of light sharing resource information to all transitioning from incarceration to their communities, by providing information on employment, housings, medical, food pantries, counseling and other resources.

East Bay is blessed with beautiful grounds which invite many possibilities. The combination of rich soil, wonderful sun exposure, and powerful prayers spoken on our land has resulted in thriving plants that are very happy to live in our garden. Many members of the church have had a hand in creating the garden we enjoy today. Rev. Elouise and Teya Brown know the history of many of the more established plants that were selected years ago with care and purpose. We want to share this abundant space with as many spirits as we can!
