Invitation to Summer Fun!

You were born with a natural gift of creativity that will enable you to function at exceptional levels if you take the time to learn and apply some of the important ideas and insights.

This class is designed:

  • To inspire: insight, laughter, zaniness, and spiritual revelations.
  • To encourage: sharing, creating jokes, drawing, moving/dance, painting, recording dreams and doodles.
  • To assist: facing your mental locks that keep you from experiencing the powerful and fulfilled life that your creativity can bring to you.
  • To guide: practice of new ways of using your mind.
  • To introduce: Some have found new jobs, new talents, new relationships and different ways to look at their everyday lives.

Weekly topics:

  • Creativity — its meaning and purpose while moving, dancing and…
  • Embracing a larger point of view with jokes, rapping and poetry
  • Breaking out of the box with metaphors and your creativity collage
  • Our place in creation and tapping into spirit speaking through dreams
  • Expressing with joy and pride while delivering own creations

Spiritual Principles and Practices is a Foundation class times 2! It is a foundation or first-level class within the class offerings of Centers for Spiritual Living, meaning that many of the other courses are built upon what you will learn in this one. But more importantly, it is a class that provides skills that are the foundation of a healthy, balanced, prosperous, and productive life.

It is an introduction to Science of Mind and meets the prerequisite for many subsequent certificated classes.

We are all on a Journey of the Soul. What is this eternal essence that is you? Combining the integrative principles and techniques from spiritual psychology with the power of Science of Mind we will take a dynamic journey into daily meditation, emotional healing, self-love, and soul presence. Jump onboard and come on the Journey! This course offers the principles of the Science of Mind with an emphasis on daily meditation, emotional healing, practical application, self-love, soul presence, and life direction. This is an elective class. It will support the members who have not taken any classwork and would like to give sacred service at East Bay, especially those in Youth and Family Ministry.
