Ernest Holmes wrote, “The Science of Mind is an outgrowth of the spiritual faith which people have had throughout the ages.” The phrase “New Thought, Ancient Wisdom” points to this connection, blending modern metaphysical teachings (New Thought) with the timeless insights of ancient spiritual and philosophical traditions. Ancient Wisdom and Science of Mind explores the bridge between the universal spiritual principles found in ancient wisdom traditions and the Science of Mind Declaration of Principles. Each of the five modules highlights specific principles and invites students to reflect on how these ideas have been expressed and lived in diverse cultures and times throughout history. This is a history course similar to Exploring the Roots of Science of Mind.
