Administrative Co-Coordinator Job Description

We are looking for a team of responsible, proactive Administrative Coordinators to be accountable for coordinating the church’s daily operations, organizing the church’s schedule of events, ensuring the effective use of church resources, and keeping accurate records.

The Administrative Coordinators assist the Minister, church staff members, volunteers and work with the community.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparation and Production of weekly email updates, Sunday Announcements, and coordination of monthly newsletter (Love In Action),
  • Performs administrative tasks as assigned
  • Coordination of the Church activities
  • Serves as in-person and telephone greeter
  • Provide administrative support for Minister and Church Staff
  • Oversight and Maintenance of the Church Calendar
  • Maintains the inventory of supplies
  • Serves as Event Coordinator

The ideal candidates should possess the following competencies:
  • Warm, enthusiastic, and welcoming to members and guests as expected in a
    spiritual environment.
  • Ability to work well with others – including members of the staff, congregation, guests, and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge — or a willingness to learn — the operating software, ServantKeeper, is a must.
  • Knowledge of databases and publishing software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Must be able to manage processes.
  • Proactive and creative problem solver
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This role is a 15-hour-per-week part-time position. Monday-Friday. Special Events as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a responsible administrative capacity
