Memory Care Café
A welcoming space for connection, joy, and support
You’re not alone. You’re welcome here.
The Memory Care Café is a warm, inclusive gathering for individuals experiencing memory loss and their care partners (family, friends, neighbors, or caregivers). Together, we create an environment grounded in care, connection, joy, and ease—for both participants and volunteers.
This is a pilot program hosted by East Bay Church of Religious Science, in partnership with DayBreak Adult Care, and supported by the Stupski Foundation.
What to Expect

Each café gathering is designed to be uplifting, low-pressure, and engaging. You can expect:
- A friendly welcome + easy check-in
- Light refreshments/shared meal time
- Music, art, gentle movement, and creative activities
- Conversation and connection (no pressure to “perform”)
- Optional resource sharing for care partners
- A setting that honors people as they are—with respect and compassion
Whether you are living with memory loss, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn and be part of a caring community—you belong here.
Who Is This For?
The Memory Care Café is for:
- People living with mild-to-moderate memory changes (including dementia/Alzheimer’s)
- Care partners (spouses, adult children, family, friends, professional caregivers)
- Community members who want to learn, volunteer, or support
