Season for Nonviolence PDF Print E-mail

The Season For Nonviolence, January 30 - April 4, is a national educational, media, and grassroots campaign dedicated to demonstrating that nonviolence is a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives and our communities. Inspired by the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this international event honors their vision for an empowered, nonviolent world.

East Bay Church of Religious Science celebrates the Season For Nonviolence by sponsoring and/or participating in a variety of activities such as community peace prayers, daily commitments, workshops on non-violent themes such as conflict resolution, diversity, family values, and nonviolence to our planet. We honor and welcome peace heroes and guest speakers to share their programs of peace.

We are looking for volunteers who want to help promote "The Season" at East Bay Church from January 30 - April 4. For more information, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
