F.A.C.E.S. Partners with the East Bay Faith Based Homeownership Alliance

In spring of 2003, Freddie Mac, M.C. Vision Ministries, and the City of Oakland sponsored a Faith-Based Homeownership Workshop. As a result of the workshop, River of Life Christian Fellowship (Life Development Corporation), East Bay Church of Religious Science (F.A.C.E.S.), and Community Christian Church for Christ (Millennium Community Association) formed the East Bay Faith-Based Homeownership Alliance (EBFBHA) to ensure existing and prospective congregations of the Alliance have the maximum access to homeownership programs.

The EBFBHA is a collaborative effort with various public and private sector organizations to create a one-stop homeownership assistance program for members of the EBFBHA and increase African American homeownership through the churches of California’s East Bay region.

Visit our F.A.C.E.S. table in the Fellowship area of East Bay Church following Sunday Services to speak with our Real Estate Counselors and Loan Officers to learn more about our program. Attend one of our Homebuyer Orientation Workshops on the second Saturday or third Wednesday of each month to learn how you can become a homeowner as well as expand your real estate investments. You may also visit our website, www.ebfbha.org to learn more about the services offered through the EBFBHA Initiative.
