HistoryThe East Bay Church of Religious Science music ministry was founded in 1981 as the vision of our Senior Minister, Reverend Dr. Elouise Oliver. Our 75-plus member music ministry includes one of the first mass choirs established within the United Centers for Spiritual Living Global Ministries. We are committed to the transformation of the entire planet by sharing soulful, heartfelt, spiritual music. Music LeadershipUnder the direction of Tyrone Cosey, Minister of Music and the music leadership of Dr. Jacqueline Hairston, Music Educator, Composer, and Arranger; Queen Michelle Jordan, Director; Vanessa Wynn, Director/Arranger and Dr. Jamylle Carter, Director (other musicians: Bobby Eddins, Bass; Trevelyn Lee & Darryl Thompson, Drums), the EBCRS International Mass Choir has ministered to audiences throughout the world. National and International Music PresentationsFrequently featured in concerts and choral festivals, the Choir and combined groups have performed at the following: 2008 How Sweet the Sound Celebration, West Africa, Carnegie Hall in New York City, Hillside Chapel in Atlanta, Global Exchange Green Festival in San Francisco, Founder’s Church Annual International Choral Festival in Los Angeles, Annual International Forgiveness Day (four years) and the Bay Area Barack Obama United for Change Rally.
