Our Community Outreach Program offers various support services to families and individuals in our community.

Our goal is to expand the consciousness of love and unity through prayer, direct support and service. In the past year, we were blessed to create many opportunities to provide service:

• In March we gave out Easter Baskets to the Moms re-entry program.
• In August we hosted a Back to School Drive which provided back packs and school supplies to over 20 children in the Oakland area.
• In November we were able to feed over 250 people through our annual Thanksgiving Celebration and food drive. Families came from the EBCRS congregation, The Laney College CARES Program and the Santa Rita MOMs Program.
• In December we adopted 50 families with multiple children for the Christmas Holiday and provided toys, food, clothing, warm coats, and SOM educational information for the parents.
• Towards the end of 2011, we also supported a Community Coat Drive with FACES of the East Bay which provided coats to multiple shelters in the Oakland area.

Each year it is our goal to increase the numbers of families we serve. Would you like to be a part of this movement? We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in securing donations, preparing gift bags, and creating partnerships within our community.
